PsyRAS Northwest

 

Greater Manchester Support Group for Psychological Therapists Working with Refugees and Asylum Seekers

 

PsyRAS (Northwest) has been set-up to meet the evolving needs of psychological therapists working with Refugees and Asylum Seekers in Greater Manchester. Guided by this, the group aims to provide the following:

 

·      Support

·      Networking

·      Information and resource-sharing

·      Continuing professional development & training

·      Psycho-legal training and advice e.g. producing court reports

·      Peer supervision of clinical cases

·      Issue-based discussion

·      Policy updates

·      Campaigning

·      Service development issues, including accessibility of local psychological therapies services to asylum seekers and refugees

 

 

Membership:          Open to all providers of psychological therapies

within statutory services

Victims of Torture (NorthWest)            

Spear Street, Manchester
